Getting There

Car
From Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, drive south on Route Nationale 2 (RN2) towards Antananarivo. After about 12 km, look for signs directing you to Réserve de Vohimana. Turn right onto the smaller road leading to Ambavaniasy, where the reserve is located. The entrance is approximately 2 km from this turn. Be prepared for some rough terrain towards the end of your journey, and ensure your vehicle is suitable for such conditions.

Public Transportation
Take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Andasibe to Antananarivo. The ride will take around 3-4 hours. Upon reaching Antananarivo, you will need to catch another taxi-brousse heading back towards Andasibe, but make sure to ask the driver if they can drop you at Réserve de Vohimana or at the nearest point. Alternatively, you can ask for a local taxi to take you directly to the reserve from the nearest drop-off point.
