If you're driving to Vakôna Lemur Island from Andasibe-Mantadia National Park, head southwest on Route Nationale 2 (RN2). Continue for approximately 5 kilometers until you see the signs for Vakôna Lodge on your right. Turn onto the dirt road leading to the lodge, where you can park your vehicle. From the lodge, you can take a short boat ride to the island.

To reach Vakôna Lemur Island via public transportation, you can take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Andasibe village to the nearest stop on Route Nationale 2. Ask the driver to drop you off near Vakôna Lodge. From the drop-off point, it is a short walk to the lodge, where you can purchase a ticket for the boat ride to the island. Make sure to confirm the schedule with the driver as they may vary.
