If you are traveling by car, start your journey in the city of Toliara, the capital of Atsimo-Andrefana. Head northwest on Route Nationale 7 (RN7) towards Ifaty. The drive is approximately 27 kilometers and should take around 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching Ifaty, look for signs directing you to Plage de Madiorano. Once in Ifaty, navigate to the coordinates WHGW+35, which will lead you to the beach.
Public Transportation
To reach Plage de Madiorano using public transportation, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Toliara to Ifaty. The taxi-brousse station in Toliara is located near the central market. The fare is typically around 5,000 MGA (Malagasy Ariary) to 10,000 MGA. The journey takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in Ifaty, you can either walk to Plage de Madiorano or hire a local taxi for a short drive to WHGW+35.
