Car
From the city center of Toliara, head northwest on the RN9 road towards Ifaty. The journey is approximately 27 kilometers and takes about 30-40 minutes. Once in Ifaty, continue straight until you reach the location VJGC+V6R, which is where Reserve Reniala is situated. Look for signs indicating the nature preserve.
Public Transportation
Take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from the main station in Toliara to Ifaty. The fare is usually around 5,000 to 10,000 Ariary ($1.50 to $3). The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Ifaty, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the Reserve Reniala, which is approximately 3 kilometers from the center of Ifaty. Ask locals for directions to VJGC+V6R.

If you are already in Ifaty, you can reach Reserve Reniala on foot. Starting from the center of Ifaty, head south on the main road towards the beach, then turn left onto the dirt road that leads to VJGC+V6R. The walk is about 30-40 minutes and allows you to enjoy the local scenery.
