If you are driving from the capital city Antananarivo, take Route Nationale 7 (RN7) south towards Fianarantsoa. The journey is approximately 400 kilometers and will take around 8 hours. Once you reach Fianarantsoa, continue south on the RN7 for about 70 kilometers until you reach the town of Ambalavao. From Ambalavao, follow signs to Andringitra National Park, which is around 30 kilometers away. The last part of the journey will be on a dirt road, which may require a 4x4 vehicle depending on the weather conditions.
