From Mahajanga, you will need to take the Route Nationale 4 towards the south. After approximately 50 kilometers, you will reach the town of Soalala. From Soalala, continue on Route Nationale 4 for another 40 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Tsingy Rouge. The road leading to Tsingy Rouge may be rough and unpaved in some sections, so it is recommended to have a 4WD vehicle for this journey.

If you are taking public transportation to Tsingy Rouge, you can first take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Mahajanga to Soalala. From Soalala, you can then hire a local guide with a 4WD vehicle to take you to Tsingy Rouge.
