    From Betsiboka, head south on Route Nationale 1 (RN1) towards Antananarivo. Continue for approximately 80 km until you reach the town of Antananarivo. Once there, switch to Route Nationale 7 (RN7) heading towards Fianarantsoa. After about 400 km, you will pass through the town of Isalo, then follow signs to Isalo National Park. The park entrance is approximately 30 km from the town of Isalo. Expect to pay an entrance fee of around 55,000 MGA per person.

    Take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Betsiboka to Antananarivo. The journey takes about 3-4 hours. Once in Antananarivo, transfer to another taxi-brousse heading to Fianarantsoa. This leg of the trip will take approximately 10-12 hours. Upon arriving in Fianarantsoa, catch a taxi-brousse to Isalo. This final leg takes around 5-6 hours. Make sure to confirm the taxi-brousse schedule at each point, and expect to pay around 20,000 MGA for the first taxi-brousse, 30,000 MGA for the second, and 15,000 MGA for the last leg.
