Car
From the center of Betsiboka, head south on Route Nationale 4 (RN4) towards Antananarivo. Continue on RN4 for about 100 kilometers until you reach the town of Ambarinakoho. Look for the signs directing you to Isalo National Park. Once you enter Ambarinakoho, navigate to the coordinates 9855+GF6, where the Isalo Window is located. Make sure to have a GPS or a map app handy, as the roads may not be well marked.
Public Transportation
Take a local bus or taxi-brousse from the central station in Betsiboka heading towards Antananarivo. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Ambarinakoho. The fare should be around 20,000 Ariary (approximately $5). Upon arrival in Ambarinakoho, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you the remaining distance to Isalo Window at the coordinates 9855+GF6. Expect to pay an additional 5,000 Ariary (about $1.25) for the taxi.
Walking
If you prefer to walk after arriving in Ambarinakoho, head south towards the coordinates 9855+GF6. The walk is about 3 kilometers and will take approximately 40 minutes. Be mindful of the road conditions and stay hydrated, as it may be hot during the day.
