    Car

    From the center of Boeny, head south on the Route Nationale 6 (RN6) towards the town of Mahajanga. Continue for approximately 100 kilometers. After reaching Mahajanga, follow the signs to Route Nationale 4 (RN4) towards Antananarivo. Drive for about 70 kilometers until you reach the junction where you will see signs for Anja Community Reserve. Turn onto the local road leading to the reserve and continue for about 10 kilometers until you arrive at Anja Community Reserve.

    Public Transportation

    Start at the main taxi-brousse station in Boeny. Take a taxi-brousse heading towards Mahajanga. The fare is typically around 5,000 to 10,000 Ariary. Upon reaching Mahajanga, transfer to another taxi-brousse that goes to Antananarivo and ask the driver to drop you at the junction for Anja Community Reserve. The fare for this leg should be around 15,000 to 20,000 Ariary. From the junction, you can either walk the remaining 10 kilometers to the reserve or hire a local taxi for around 20,000 to 30,000 Ariary.
