Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Diego Suarez, head towards the main street, Avenue de la République. Walk north on this street until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the exit towards Route Nationale 6 heading towards Cap Diégo. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers. You'll notice signs for Jardin des Baobabs along the way. Once you reach the entrance of Jardin des Baobabs, follow the path leading into the park. Baobab HEARTH A.Suarezensis is located within the park area, so keep an eye out for signage or local guides to direct you to the specific location.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Diego Suarez. Start from the city center and head north along Avenue de la République. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the exit for Route Nationale 6 towards Cap Diégo. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed. Look for the signs indicating Jardin des Baobabs, and park your bicycle at the entrance. Once inside, follow the trails to find Baobab HEARTH A.Suarezensis.

  Take a local taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from the center of Diego Suarez towards Cap Diégo. Look for one that has 'Cap Diégo' displayed prominently. The fare is usually affordable. After about 15-20 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at Jardin des Baobabs. Once you arrive, pay the entrance fee and explore the park until you find Baobab HEARTH A.Suarezensis.
