From the center of Diego Suarez, start at the intersection of Avenue de la République and Avenue de l'Indépendance. Head north on Avenue de la République towards Boulevard de la Liberté. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route Nationale 6 heading towards Antsiranana (Diego Suarez) harbor. Keep walking along this road for about 2 kilometers. You'll pass various shops and local eateries. After reaching the harbor area, look for signs directing you to 'Viewpoint French Mountain' or ask locals for directions.
