From Antananarivo, take the RN1 highway towards the west for approximately 80 km until you reach the junction to RN43. Turn left onto RN43 and continue for about 30 km until you reach Ampefy. Once in Ampefy, follow the signs to Lac Itasy, which is just a short drive (around 15-20 minutes) from the center of Ampefy. Parking is available near the lake.
