If you are driving from Melaky town center, head southeast on Route Nationale 8 (RN8). Continue on RN8 for approximately 70 km until you reach the fork near Morondava. Take the left fork to stay on RN8. After about 20 km, you will see signs for Kivalo Est. Turn right onto the secondary road that leads to Kivalo Est and follow the signs to Mangily Village. Look for the coordinates Q9W6+GH on your GPS for the exact location of the village.

From Melaky, head to the bus station and look for a 'taxi-brousse' (shared minibus) heading towards Morondava. The fare is typically around 20,000 Ariary (about 5 USD). Once you arrive at Kivalo Est, walk towards the village following local signs or ask locals for directions to Mangily Village, located at Q9W6+GH.
