Getting There

    If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Ranomafana National Park. Follow the main road leading into the park, keeping an eye out for signs directing you towards the NP Reception and Shop. The shop is located approximately 1 km from the entrance. Look for a well-marked building on your right side as you approach the main visitor center area.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Fianarantsoa to Ranomafana. Once you've arrived at the Ranomafana village stop, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach the NP Reception and Shop. It is about a 15-minute walk from the village center. Head east along the main road, and you will see the signs for the park entrance. Continue along the road, and the shop will be on your right after approximately 1 km.

    For those already within walking distance in the park, simply follow the main paths leading towards the NP Reception and Shop. The reception is located about 1 km from the visitor entrance.
