If you're driving, head towards the main entrance of Ranomafana National Park. Once you enter the park, follow the main road until you reach the designated parking area near the park's visitor center. Park your vehicle here. From the visitor center, you can ask for directions to Vohipara Trail, which is well-signposted. The trailhead is approximately a 10-minute walk from the visitor center.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) to the town of Ranomafana. From there, ask the local drivers for a taxi to the park entrance. Once you arrive at the entrance of Ranomafana National Park, you may need to hire a local guide to take you to the Vohipara Trail. The guide services are generally available at the visitor center, and you can expect to pay around 50,000 MGA (approximately $14) for a half-day tour.

If you are already within Ranomafana National Park and prefer walking, start from the visitor center. Follow the signs for Vohipara Trail, which is located approximately 1 kilometer from the visitor center. The path is well-maintained and offers beautiful views of the surrounding rainforest. It should take you about 20 minutes to reach the trailhead on foot.
