Walking
From the central market (Marché de Toamasina), head east on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn left onto Rue de la République and walk for another 500 meters. You will pass several local shops and eateries. Continue straight until you reach the large roundabout at the end of the street. From the roundabout, take the exit towards Rue du 7 Mars and walk for approximately 300 meters. Tany amidy is located on your right, at the coordinates R9CC+P6.

Start at the Toamasina beach area (Plage de Toamasina). Rent a bicycle from any of the local rental shops. Head west along the beachfront promenade until you reach Avenue de l'Indépendance.
