    If you are starting from the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, exit the center and head south on the Park Loop Road. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Eagle Lake Road. Turn left onto Eagle Lake Road and follow it for approximately 0.8 miles until you reach Route 3. Turn right onto Route 3 and continue for about 1.5 miles. You will arrive in Bar Harbor. Once in Bar Harbor, walk along Main Street until you reach Mount Desert Street. Turn left onto Mount Desert Street, and the Abbe Museum will be on your left at 26 Mt Desert St.

    From the Acadia National Park Visitor Center, take the Island Explorer bus (Route 5) towards Bar Harbor. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Bar Harbor Village Green' stop. Once you disembark, walk east along Main Street for about 0.2 miles, then turn left onto Mount Desert Street. Continue walking for another 0.1 miles, and you will find the Abbe Museum at 26 Mt Desert St on your left.
