Walking
From the center of Bar Harbor, head south on Main Street towards Eden Street. Continue straight onto Route 3, following signs for Acadia National Park. After about 1 mile, turn right onto Peabody Drive (look for a sign for Asticou Terraces). Continue on Peabody Drive for about 0.5 miles until you reach Asticou Terraces, which will be on your left at 41 Peabody Dr, Mt Desert, ME 04660. The trailhead is well-marked.

If you are starting from the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, take the Park Loop Road heading southwest. After approximately 2 miles, you will see a sign for Asticou Terraces on your right. Follow the sign and take a left onto Peabody Drive. Continue for about 0.5 miles, where you will find Asticou Terraces on your left at 41 Peabody Dr, Mt Desert, ME 04660.

Use the Island Explorer Shuttle Bus, which operates seasonally and provides free service around Acadia National Park. Board the bus at any designated stop in Bar Harbor, and take the Route 2 bus towards the Asticou Terraces. Get off at the stop nearest to Peabody Drive. From there, walk approximately 0.2 miles down Peabody Drive until you reach Asticou Terraces located at 41 Peabody Dr, Mt Desert, ME 04660.
