From the Visitor Center in Acadia National Park, head south on Route 3 towards Bar Harbor. Continue along the path designated for pedestrians, which will take you along the scenic shoreline. Follow the signs leading to Bar Harbor, and enjoy the views of the ocean. After approximately 2 miles, you will reach the town of Bar Harbor. Once in town, navigate to West Street by following the main road signs. Keep walking until you reach 127 West St, where the Bar Harbor Historical Society is located.

From Acadia National Park, rent a bike at one of the local bike rental shops. Head south on Route 3, using the designated bike lanes. Continue for about 2 miles until you enter Bar Harbor. When you reach town, turn onto West Street, which is clearly marked. Pedal approximately 0.5 miles down West Street until you arrive at 127 West St, the location of the Bar Harbor Historical Society.

If you prefer public transit, locate the Island Explorer bus service, which operates throughout Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Take the bus from any stop within the park that services Bar Harbor. Once you arrive at Bar Harbor, disembark at the West Street stop. From there, walk west along West Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach 127 West St, where the Bar Harbor Historical Society is situated.
