Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car within Washington County, you'll want to head towards Bar Harbor. From the town of Machias, take ME-1 South for approximately 20 miles until you reach Bar Harbor. Once in Bar Harbor, turn onto Main Street. Atlantic Climbing School is located at 67 Main St, Bar Harbor, ME 04609. There is street parking available, but it may be limited during peak tourist seasons. Be prepared for parking fees that can range from $1 to $3 per hour, depending on the location.

  For those relying on public transportation, check for bus services that operate from surrounding towns to Bar Harbor. The Downeast Transportation bus service offers routes that may connect you to Bar Harbor. Once you arrive at the Bar Harbor bus terminal, it’s about a 0.5-mile walk to Atlantic Climbing School.
