Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Bar Harbor, walk towards the main road (Route 3). Head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3, which will take you toward the Hulls Cove Visitor Center. Continue walking on Route 3, keeping an eye out for the Hulls Cove Visitor Center signs. It is approximately 2 miles from Bar Harbor to Hulls Cove. As you walk, enjoy the scenic views of the park and the ocean. After about 40-45 minutes of walking, you will see the visitor center on your left at 25 Visitor Center Rd.

  • Biking

    For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bike in Bar Harbor. Head east on Main Street to Route 3, then turn left. Biking will take you along the road, and it's about a 2-mile ride.
