From Augusta, head to the nearest bus station, which is the Kennebec Explorer at 17 Cony St. Take the bus heading towards Wiscasset. Make sure to check the schedule in advance, as buses may not run frequently. Once you arrive in Wiscasset, get off at the closest stop to Old Bath Rd. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk. Head southwest on Main St toward Old Bath Rd, then turn right onto Old Bath Rd. The Maine Tasting Center will be on your left at 506 Old Bath Rd.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Augusta. Start at the Augusta Civic Center and follow the Kennebec River Trail south until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 and continue heading south. Follow the signs for Wiscasset. After about 12 miles, you will reach Wiscasset. Continue on Route 1 and look for Old Bath Rd. Turn left onto Old Bath Rd, and the Maine Tasting Center will be on your left.

For the adventurous, walking from Augusta to Wiscasset is an option if you’re prepared for a long trek. Start at the Maine State House and proceed down State St, then take the pedestrian path leading to the Kennebec River. Follow the river along the path until you reach Main St. Continue south on Main St, which will eventually merge into Route 1. Walk along Route 1 for approximately 12 miles until you reach Wiscasset. Once in Wiscasset, look for Old Bath Rd and turn left. The Maine Tasting Center is located at 506 Old Bath Rd.
