From downtown Augusta, walk to the nearest bus stop on Water Street. Catch the Kennebec Explorer bus heading south towards Boothbay Harbor. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Boothbay Commons stop, then walk approximately 15 minutes along Route 27 (also known as Boothbay Road) heading towards Boothbay. Follow the signs for Botanical Gardens; the Native Butterfly House is located at 105 Botanical Gdns Dr, near the entrance of the gardens.
