Start at Biddeford City Hall located at 205 Main St, Biddeford, ME 04005. Head south on Main St towards Alfred St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pool St. Turn left onto Pool St and walk until you reach the Saco River. Cross the river using the Biddeford-Saco Bridge. Once you cross, continue straight on Main St in Saco until you reach the intersection with Ocean Park Rd. Turn right onto Ocean Park Rd and follow it until you reach the waterfront area where you'll see signs directing you towards the Maine State Pier in Portland.

From Biddeford, walk to the nearest bus stop at Main St and Alfred St. Take the South Portland Bus Line towards Portland. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Maine Mall' stop. Transfer to the Casco Bay Island Transit ferry service towards 'Portland'. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal in Portland, follow the signs to the Maine State Pier, which is a short walk away along the waterfront.
