You can catch the bus at the Biddeford City Hall stop located at 205 Main St. Make sure to check the schedule for the next bus to Old Orchard Beach. Once on the bus, stay on for approximately 15-20 minutes. The bus will take you directly to the Old Orchard Beach stop. From there, it's just a short 5-minute walk to the beach.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Biddeford. Start your ride by heading northwest on Main St. towards Alfred St. Continue until you reach the intersection, then take a right onto Alfred St. Follow Alfred St. until you reach the entrance to the Eastern Trail. Take the trail heading southeast, which will lead you towards Old Orchard Beach. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the beach.
Walking
If you enjoy walking, you can reach Old Orchard Beach on foot. Start from the center of Biddeford at Main St. and head south toward the Saco River. Cross over the bridge and follow the path along the river until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1, and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. After you pass several shops and restaurants, you’ll see signs for Old Orchard Beach. Follow the signs to the beach entrance, which is about a 20-minute walk from the main road.
