Getting There

    From Biddeford, you can take the York County Community Action Corporation (YCCAC) bus. Board the bus at the Biddeford City Hall stop. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as the service may not run frequently. Ride the bus towards York and disembark at the stop closest to Sohier Park. From the bus stop, walk towards Sohier Park Rd, and follow the signs to Nubble Lighthouse. The lighthouse is approximately a 10-minute walk from the park entrance.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Biddeford. Head east on Main St, then take a right onto Alfred St (Route 111) which will lead you out of Biddeford. Follow Route 111 until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Take a left onto Route 1 and continue north until you reach York. Once in York, look for signs directing you to Sohier Park. The ride is approximately 8 miles and may take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

    If you enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route through Biddeford and into York. Start at the Biddeford City Square and head east on Main St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Alfred St, then turn right. Follow Alfred St until you reach Route 1, then turn left. Continue north on Route 1, and after about 2 miles, you will start to see signs for York. Once you reach York, follow the signs to Sohier Park. This walk is approximately 5 to 6 miles and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
