From City Hall, head southeast on Main St toward Alfred St. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Saco Ave. Turn left onto Saco Ave and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will see the Biddeford Pool area on your right. Keep walking until you reach the end of Saco Ave, where you will find the Biddeford Pool area. Here, you can follow the shoreline path that leads to the Wood Island Lighthouse, which you can see in the distance. The walk may take about 20-30 minutes.

    Begin your biking journey at the Biddeford City Hall at 205 Main St. Head southeast on Main St toward Alfred St. Turn left onto Saco Ave and bike along the scenic route, which will take you through residential areas and along the coast. After about 1 mile, you will reach Biddeford Pool. Continue along the shore until you can see Wood Island ahead. The biking trip typically takes around 15-25 minutes depending on your pace.

    From Biddeford, take the local public transport bus heading towards Saco. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop to your location. Once you arrive in Saco, disembark at the Saco Bus Terminal.
