Car
From Farmington, take ME-4 South for approximately 18 miles until you reach Wilton. Then, merge onto ME-156 South and continue for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with ME-27 South. Turn left onto ME-27 South and follow it for 25 miles, passing through the towns of New Vineyard and Carrabassett Valley. Continue on ME-27 South until you reach the junction with US-1 in Rockland. Merge onto US-1 South and drive for about 8 miles. Take a right onto Lighthouse Road, and the Owls Head Lighthouse will be on your left at 186 Lighthouse Rd, Owls Head, ME 04854. Parking is available near the lighthouse.

If you are traveling via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Farmington to Rockland. You can find the schedule for the bus service at the local transit authority website. Once you arrive in Rockland, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Owls Head Lighthouse, as public transportation does not run directly to the lighthouse. The taxi ride from Rockland to the lighthouse should take about 15 minutes and will cost approximately $20-30. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as they may not run frequently.
