    If you're driving from Bar Harbor, head southeast on Main St toward Eden St. Continue onto ME-3 E. Follow ME-3 for about 4 miles. You will see signs directing you to Acadia National Park. Turn left onto Park Loop Rd, which will take you directly into the park entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    From Bar Harbor, you can take the Island Explorer bus service, which operates seasonally. Catch the bus at any designated stop in Bar Harbor. The bus will take you to various points within Acadia National Park. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest times and routes.

  • Car

    If you're coming from Ellsworth, take US-1 N for about 15 miles. Merge onto ME-3 E toward Bar Harbor. Continue on ME-3 for approximately 10 miles, then follow the signs for Acadia National Park, turning right onto Park Loop Rd to enter the park.

    If you are coming from Southwest Harbor, head north on ME-102 N. Continue for about 4 miles until you reach the junction with ME-3. Turn left onto ME-3 W, and follow the signs to Acadia National Park. Turn right onto Park Loop Rd to enter the park.
