If you're traveling by car within Hancock County, start on ME-3 S towards Bar Harbor. Continue on ME-3 S until you reach the intersection with ME-1 S. Take the exit for ME-1 S towards Ellsworth/Atlantic Highway. Follow ME-1 S for approximately 50 miles until you reach Cape Elizabeth. Once in Cape Elizabeth, turn onto Shore Road and follow it until you reach 1000 Shore Rd, where Fort Williams Park is located. There is free parking available at the park.

If you prefer public transportation, first take a bus from Bar Harbor to Portland. From Portland, you can catch the METRO bus service (Route 1) to Cape Elizabeth. The closest stop to Fort Williams Park is at the end of Shore Road. From there, it's a short walk (about 0.5 miles) to the entrance of the park.
