    If you are driving from the city of Bangor, take I-95 South and merge onto I-395 East. Continue on I-395 until you reach US-1A. Follow US-1A and merge onto ME-1 North, which will lead you towards Prospect. Turn onto Fort Knox Road, where the observatory is located at 740 Ft Knox Rd, Prospect, ME 04981. The journey should take about 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

    From Bar Harbor, take ME-3 South towards Trenton. Merge onto US-1 South and continue until you reach the town of Bucksport.
