If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Millinocket, Maine. Head northeast on Katahdin Avenue toward Central Street. Continue onto ME-11 N/ME-157 N/State Route 11 N. Follow ME-11 N for approximately 17 miles. You will eventually turn left onto the road leading to the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument. Follow the signs to Katahdin Falls. Note that the roads may be unpaved and could require a vehicle with good clearance.
