From the center of Kennebunkport, head north on Maine Street towards the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Route 9. Follow Route 9 until you reach the intersection with Route 35. Turn left onto Route 35 and follow the signs towards Portland. Once in Portland, take a right onto Eastern Promenade where the Eastern Promenade Trail begins. The trail is well marked and will lead you along the waterfront.

Start at the Kennebunkport Town Dock. Head east towards the bridge and cross over it onto Route 9. Continue along Route 9, which will lead you directly into Portland. Once you arrive, look for bike lanes and signage directing you to Eastern Promenade. The trail offers beautiful views of the harbor and is a great way to enjoy the scenery as you make your way to the Eastern Promenade Trail.
