From the center of Kennebunkport, walk to the nearest bus stop on Route 1, which is about a 10-minute walk. Board the 'YCCAC' bus heading towards Portland. The bus should arrive every hour. Stay on the bus until you reach the Falmouth stop, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you get off, Mackworth Island is a short walk from the bus stop. Head north on Route 1, then take a left onto Falmouth Road and follow the signs to Mackworth Island.
