From South Portland, head to the South Portland Bus Terminal located at 100 Thompson's Point Rd. Take the Metro Bus Route 1 towards Downtown Portland. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the 'Portland Transportation Center' stop. Once there, transfer to the Greyhound or Concord Coach Lines bus heading to Kennebunkport. The bus ride to Kennebunkport will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kennebunkport bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Goose Rocks Beach, which is about a 10-minute ride.

If you enjoy biking, rent a bicycle from a local shop in South Portland, such as 'Portland Gear Hub.' Head north on Broadway, following the signs towards the Casco Bay Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow Route 1 North for about 8 miles. Turn left onto Goose Rocks Road and continue straight until you reach Goose Rocks Beach. This route is roughly 12 miles and should take you around 1 hour to bike, depending on your pace.
