Start from Downtown Portland at the Portland Transportation Center. Take the METRO bus Route 1 (South Portland) towards South Portland. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the 'Cape Elizabeth' stop. From there, you can walk about 15 minutes to reach Portland Head Light. Head south on Ocean House Road, then turn right onto Shore Road, continuing until you reach the entrance of Fort Williams Park, where Portland Head Light is located.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Portland. Start your journey from the East End, heading south on Eastern Promenade. Follow the trail until you reach the intersection with Shore Road. Continue straight on Shore Road, passing through local neighborhoods.
