Walking
If you are starting from the downtown area, head southwest on Congress Street towards State Street. Continue on Congress Street until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn left onto High Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Spring Street. Turn right onto Spring Street and proceed straight until you reach the end of the street. At the end of Spring Street, take a left onto Valley Street. Continue walking on Valley Street, and you will find the entrance to Western Promenade on your left.

If you prefer to take public transit, you can catch the Metro bus at any downtown location. Look for the bus that goes towards the West End. Board the bus and ride until you reach the stop at 'Valley Street & West Promenade'. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance down Valley Street, and you will find Western Promenade on your right.

For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a bike at one of the local bike-sharing stations in downtown Portland. Head southwest towards Congress Street and follow the same route as the walking directions. Alternatively, you can take the bike path along the waterfront and then connect to the streets leading to Valley Street.
