Walking
If you are in the West End, head towards Congress Street. Depending on your starting point, you can either walk south on Park Street or head towards State Street and then to Congress Street. Once you reach Congress Street, head east for about 0.3 miles (approximately 6-7 minutes of walking). Monument Square will be on your left at 456 Congress St.
Public Transit (Bus)
Locate the nearest bus stop to you in West End. You can take the METRO bus service, which operates throughout Portland. Board any bus that heads towards downtown Portland. The fare is $1.50 for a single ride. Request to get off at the stop closest to Congress Street. From there, it’s a short walk (about 3 minutes) east on Congress Street to reach Monument Square at 456 Congress St.
