From the center of Rockland, head east on Mechanic Street toward Main Street. Continue straight to stay on Mechanic Street, which will turn into Elm Street. Follow Elm Street for about 0.5 miles. The Farnsworth Homestead will be on your left at 21 Elm Street. Look for the sign and entrance to the homestead.
Biking
If you have a bike, start at the Rockland Harbor Park. Head east on Bay View Street until you reach Main Street. Turn left on Main Street, and then take a right onto Mechanic Street. Continue straight, and the road will turn into Elm Street. The Farnsworth Homestead is located at 21 Elm Street, on your left. Make sure to watch for traffic as you navigate through the streets.
Public Transport
While there is limited public transport in Rockland, you can check for any local shuttles that might be operating during your visit. If available, take a shuttle that heads toward Elm Street or downtown Rockland. Get off at the nearest stop to Elm Street, and walk about 0.2 miles east on Elm Street to reach 21 Elm Street, where the Farnsworth Homestead is located.
