Head southwest on Ocean St toward Main St. Continue onto Mechanic St, then turn left onto Main St. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Bay View St. Turn right onto Bay View St, and follow it until you reach the Rockland Breakwater. The breakwater is a long stone pathway leading directly to the lighthouse. It's approximately a mile walk along the breakwater, so be prepared for a scenic stroll with beautiful views of the harbor.
