If you are in downtown Rockland, start at the intersection of Main Street and Mechanic Street. Head northeast on Mechanic Street until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto Park Drive. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles, and you will see the Maine Lighthouse Museum on your right at 1 Park Drive. The museum is a short walk from the downtown area and is easily accessible on foot.

For those cycling, begin at the Rockland Harbor Park located at 150 Bayview Street. Head southwest along the waterfront path until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right and continue on Main Street until you reach Mechanic Street. Turn left onto Mechanic Street and then turn left again onto Park Drive. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles, and the Maine Lighthouse Museum will be on your right at 1 Park Drive. The route is mostly flat and scenic along the harbor.
