From downtown Saco, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street, near the intersection with Pepperell Square. Catch the South Portland bus (Route 5) heading towards South Portland. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes, and disembark at the South Portland bus terminal. From there, walk south on Broadway, then take a right onto Ocean Street. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the Liberty Ship Memorial, located at the waterfront.

If you are near the Saco River, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental shop. Start by heading south along the river's bike path. Follow the path as it merges onto the East Bay Trail. Continue on this trail until you reach the intersection with Ocean Street, where you will turn left. Follow Ocean Street for about 2 miles until you reach the Liberty Ship Memorial at the waterfront.

From the center of Saco, head south on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross Route 1 and keep going straight onto Broadway. Follow Broadway as it turns into Ocean Street. Continue walking down Ocean Street for about 1.5 miles until you arrive at the Liberty Ship Memorial, which will be on your right near the waterfront.
