Car
From Sugarloaf Mountain, head south on Sugarloaf Access Road. Follow the road for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 27. Turn right onto Route 27 and continue for approximately 12 miles, following signs for Kingfield. Once you arrive in Kingfield, turn left onto Main Street (Route 142). Maine Huts & Trails will be located at 496 Main St, Kingfield, ME 04947. Look for their sign on the right side of the road.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from Carrabassett Valley, which is the closest town to Sugarloaf Mountain. Look for the 'Mountain Explorer' shuttle service that operates in the area. You will need to get off at the nearest stop to Route 27. From there, it is advisable to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to take you the remaining 4-5 miles to Maine Huts & Trails at 496 Main St, Kingfield, ME 04947.
