If you are driving, start at Sugarloaf Mountain Resort. Head northeast on the access road and follow it until you reach the intersection with Route 27. Turn left onto Route 27 South. Continue for approximately 5 miles. Look for signs directing you to Carrabassett Valley. After crossing the Carrabassett River, continue for another 1 mile, then turn right onto Poplar Hut Road. Follow the road for about 2 miles until you reach the Poplar Hut parking area. Parking is available for guests.
