Car
If you're driving, head towards the town of Eastport, Maine. From Eastport, take Route 190 and follow the signs for Campobello Island. You will need to cross the international border into Canada, so ensure you have the necessary documentation. After crossing into Canada, continue on NB-739 and follow the signs to Wilsons Beach. Once in Wilsons Beach, turn onto Lighthouse Rd. Follow Lighthouse Rd until you reach the Head Harbour Lightstation, located at 210 Lighthouse Rd. There is limited parking available near the lightstation.
Public Transportation and Ferry
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from various locations in Washington County to Eastport. Once in Eastport, you will need to make your way to the ferry terminal. The ferry to Campobello Island operates regularly, but be sure to check the schedule in advance as it varies seasonally. Once you arrive on Campobello Island, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Wilsons Beach. From there, follow Lighthouse Rd to Head Harbour Lightstation. Note that ferry fares apply, so budget for this cost.
