From Machias, take Route 1 North for approximately 25 miles until you reach the town of Lubec. Once in Lubec, continue onto S Lubec Rd for about 5 miles. The West Quoddy Head Lighthouse will be located on your left at 973 S Lubec Rd, Lubec, ME 04652. Parking is available nearby.

From Eastport, head southwest on Route 190. Continue on Route 190 until you reach Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 South and drive for about 10 miles. Turn right onto S Lubec Rd and drive for another 5 miles. The lighthouse will be on your left. Look for parking areas around the site.

There are limited public transportation options in Washington County. Travelers can take the Downeast Transportation bus from Machias to Lubec.
