Getting There

    If you are starting from Farmington, ME, head north on ME-4 N for about 15 miles. Continue straight onto ME-142 N and follow it for approximately 9 miles until you reach the intersection with ME-43 W. Turn left onto ME-43 W and drive for about 5 miles. You will see signs for Mt. Blue State Park. Follow the signs into the park and proceed to the parking area.

  • Public Transportation + Car

    Take a bus from Portland, ME, to Farmington using Concord Coach Lines. Once you arrive in Farmington, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Mt. Blue. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and should cost around $40-$50. Ask the driver to take you to Mt. Blue State Park.

  • Hiking

    Once you arrive at the Mt. Blue State Park parking area, prepare for a hike to the summit. The trail is approximately 1.6 miles long and is mostly uphill with rocky terrain.
