After approximately 110 kilometers, you will reach a junction at a place called Kachenga. Here, take a left turn onto the M25 road. Continue on the M25 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the town of Mangochi. From Mangochi, follow the signs towards Lake Malombe. The lake is approximately 15 kilometers from Mangochi, and you will see signs directing you towards the lake area.
Public Transportation
To reach Lake Malombe via public transportation, start at the Lilongwe bus terminal. Look for a minibus heading to Balaka or Mangochi. The fare is usually around 3,000 to 5,000 MWK depending on the bus company.
