    From Lilongwe, take the M1 road north towards Kasungu. After about 100 km, turn onto the M5 road towards Salima. Continue on the M5 for about 30 km until you reach the T378 junction. Follow the T378 road for approximately 15 km to reach Lake Malawi National Park. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited fuel stations along this route.

    From Lilongwe, take a minibus to Salima. The minibuses depart from the Lilongwe Bus Station and cost around MWK 2,000. Once you arrive in Salima, you can hire a taxi or find a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Lake Malawi National Park. The taxi ride will cost approximately MWK 5,000 to MWK 10,000 depending on negotiation and the distance to the park entrance.
