If you're traveling by car within the Central Region, start by heading towards Nkhotakota. From Lilongwe, take the M1 road north towards Kasungu. After around 90 kilometers, you will reach Nkhotakota. Once you arrive in Nkhotakota, follow the signs towards the Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve. Rafiki Safari Camp is located along the shores of Lake Malawi, approximately 10 kilometers from Nkhotakota town center. Keep an eye out for the entrance sign for Rafiki Safari Camp on your left. Parking is available on-site.

For those using public transportation, take a minibus from Lilongwe to Nkhotakota. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. Upon arrival at Nkhotakota, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Rafiki Safari Camp. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the journey; it should cost around 1,500 to 2,500 MWK ($2 to $3 USD) for the short trip to the camp.
